Joseph Lyman, an association manager with over 10 years management and program development experience in trade associations, recently assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Pet Care Services Association.
Prior to joining PCSA, he was Executive Director of the Insulating Concrete Form Association and was the Executive Director of the Small Firm Council of the American Council of Engineering Companies, representing the political and business interests of over 3,800 small engineering companies throughout the United States.
Lyman says, "I believe my experience in helping small businesses grow is extremely relevant to PCSA and will help members become more profitable and efficient."
Although Lyman has only been on the job for 9 months, he and the PCSA Board of Directors have been hard at work and have already identified two major priorities: Educating the industry and Increasing the image and profile of the industry in the public-at-large. "We understand what PCSA members want and are ready to deliver," he says.
