One of the primary functions of a trade association is to provide members of the industry with a forum through which they can communicate with each other. The Pet Care Services Association performs that important function by providing publications, meetings, committees, seminars and a variety of other opportunities for pet service professionals to exchange ideas, develop new approaches and improve their knowledge of the industry.
Every year, each of the eleven geographic regions throughout the country sponsor regional meetings which feature educational seminars, open forums, presentations by industry leaders and the opportunity to focus on topics of regional interest. In addition, these meetings offer members the opportunity to meet, get to know and learn from others in the industry. These contacts are invaluable in addressing industry challenges and problems. They also represent an opportunity for busy pet service professionals to relax in a non-competitive environment. Look for more information about these regional meetings in our Calendar of Events.
The Pet Care Services Association Annual Convention and Expo offers members the same opportunities for networking as the regional meetings, but on an international scale. Pet Care Providers from Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Canada, England and many other countries attend this event to exchange ideas, learn from their peers and establish new relationships.
The Pet Care Services Association also maintains an extensive list of members who have offered to provide information in various areas of expertise. If a Pet Care Services Association member has a question about any facet of the industry, he or she can consult the Volunteer List and contact other members who have experience with that very topic.
